HERITAGE IMPACT ANALYSIS:

EXPERIENTIAL CENTRE FOR VISITOR RECEPTION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE SIEGAVERDE ROCK ART SITE

On behalf of the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage of the Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Regional Government of Castile and León, a report has been drawn up entitled Prehistoric rock art sites in the Côa Valley and Siega Verde. Impact assessment on heritage.

The commission was made as a result of the intention of the Directorate-General for Tourism of the same Regional Ministry to carry out an intervention in the Spanish sector of the site (Siega Verde).

The completion of this Impact Assessment on Heritage is understood to respond to the desire of the State Party to comply with the commitments made in the World Heritage Convention in view of the possibility of undertaking direct or indirect intervention in the area of a property inscribed on the UNESCO List.
